I high school I saw a program about autistic savants, and got extremely interested.  I watched a whole bunch of videos on them and read article after article.  I just found this article that has 6 pieces of art by savants of all sorts, I love it.

The artist has Asperger’s syndrome, but has an outstanding ability to draw inanimate objects in three dimensions accurately. (via Savant art: A window into exceptional minds - New Scientist)
