POMegranate

So it was Easter Sunday and I had missed dinning hall hours and had to search for 45 minutes to find food around the area.  It ended in the Albertsons.  I decided I would get one of those premade sandwiches grab some fruit (pluots to be exact, keep an eye out for a post on them) for my room and get a nice beverage to go with.  I was looking for a naked juice , and after not spotting any the POM caught my eye.  I had had some of the POM tea things, and enjoyed them, but I had never bought a straight-up POM.

Well its an interesting experience.  They are soooo good for you apparently.  Which is nice, but the taste was a little bit sassy for me.  The kinda tang that is a little to sharp for my taste buds.  I feel like I would need to mix it with something.  I know that pomegranate in general tends to be good with other juices, but the blends offered didn’t seem like a good idea to me.  Maybe I’ll just have to stick to my POM teas.

One things that POM is really good at though is giving a legit display.  Their bottles are shaped really awesome and have a little pomegranate stem looking thing up on the neck of the bottle.  Also as the juice goes from little bulb to the next little bulb (see diagram) it looks like a water fall of juice in the bottle.

Also their website is very very aesthetically pleasing.  They have a great list of pomagranate recipies, one that I might have to delve into soon.  Not to mention that POM has a blog of their own.
