Yucca Palace: Part of the Outback Series

So there is this place at my school called the Outback.  For those that live here, it is a grad addition to a beautiful institution, and for those that visit me it is a sweet treat.  The Outback is basically wilderness thats right in our back yard.  There are trails here and there, but there is a lot that is pretty much untouched unless people go exploring.  A couple days ago a friend and I went to a large expedition throught the Outback to see if we could find some stuff we had never seen before.  And boy oh boy did we.  Our first stop was what I named Yucca Palace.  Pictures are below.

For those of you that have experienced Yucca before (i.e camp people) you will notice one thing about these Yucca’s.  THEY ARE GIANT.

This next one I thought was facinating.  Because the Yucca doesn’t move very much the sun basically tanned this pattern that came from the other leaves on to this one.

The top of this Yucca must have been 10-12 feet up.  Gee golly gosh!!

Look for more on the Outback coming soon.
